How To Ship Your Engine
For optimal protection in shipping, we suggest ground shipping using a 48-quart Igloo Ice Chest. Before shipping, make sure you:
- Drain the engine oil
- Place the engine inside a trash bag
- Wrap it in a blanket
- Place the engine inside the cooler
After that, close the cooler’s lid and secure it using duct tape. Ship your engine to our workshop via UPS ground. Shipping cost each way is usually $100-$125 all over the USA.
After the Restoration
Before shipping back your engine, our staff will send you a video showing that your engine has been repaired or restored. You will be able to view your engine running on our test stand together with its serial number.
Your engine will then be returned in the same container that it was shipped in. Our team will also include a spare quart of oil and all the used parts of the engine in your package.
